How to Choose Between an Indoor and Outdoor Wedding

One of the most important decisions you need to make when planning your wedding is whether it will be an indoor or outdoor wedding. So, if you’re weighing your options for the perfect venue, here are a few factors that you need to keep in mind.

Indoor-and-Outdoor-Wedding

The Weather

The biggest factor that’ll impact your decision is the weather or the season. Bad weather of any kind will mean that it would be best to have your wedding indoors. Therefore, if it’s rainy or windy, or just too hot or too cold, then indoors it is!

The Cost

A lot of times, we choose an outdoor wedding because of its scenic beauty. There are many beautiful outdoor wedding venues in Maryland. However, if it’s going to cost you an arm and a leg just to set up the area to make it comfortable, accessible and secure, then it may be better to opt for an indoor wedding.

The Space

Now, if the weather is not a problem and you’ve sorted out the issue of costs, then the next factor to consider is how many people will be coming to your wedding. An indoor wedding means that you will have limited space, so a large wedding may not be possible. This is when a beautiful outdoor wedding trumps an indoor wedding!

The Availability

The last factor is the availability of the venue you’ve finally chosen. Outdoor venues are usually more difficult to book since they’re only available during the right season. So, it would be best to make a list of both indoor and outdoor options in order of preference. This way, your chances of reserving a venue you like are higher and you’ll not have to compromise on your dream wedding.
